Key Responsibilities:   

• Defining, coordinating and monitoring the medical activities under his/her responsibility.
•  Coordinating, assessing and supervising the proper functioning of the medical activities.
• Ensuring an efficient pharmacy management and monitoring the rational use of them
• Participate in ward round  in collaboration with MDs, ensure patients management is done as per protocols and guidelines.
•  Ensures proper implementation of the health policy for national staff, providing necessary preventive measures for MSF staff, safe structures/working environment and emergency plans.
• Responsible for patients’ referrals, ensure patients are referred as per referral policy.

 Requirements for the position:

•  Medical Doctor Degree (MBBS) with valid PMC registration.
• Demonstrable experience as a Medical Practitioner, pediatric experience desirable.
•  Minimum 02-year MSF experience in a management position or with an INGO or other sector.
• Desirable: relevant postgraduate qualification in health management, PHM, MCH etc.
• Developed people management and communication skills.
•  Proficiency in English, Urdu and any other relevant languages.
•  Ability to work independently and to work under stress and in difficult circumstances.
• Capacity to work in a multidisciplinary, cross-cultural and international team.
