MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

Researching and reporting on the target MOH health facilities, according to MSF protocols, standards, procedures, and tools in order to monitor, to assess and further development of the plan of action to ensure the health facility to provide a high quality of BEMONC, ANC/PNC, RTI and FP for the catchment population.

ACCOUNTABILITIES

•      Monitoring the clinical activities in all the maternity departments and activities at target health facilities, such as ante-natal consultations, delivery and after delivery follow up, post-natal consultations, new-born vaccinations and liaising with the Medical Doctor about the patients who need special care times, visiting hours, etc.

•      Monitoring that all the MOH staff know and follow at all times the universal hygiene standards/ precautions, bio-hazard prevention and infection control in the medical facilities ensuring high standards of hygiene in the working environment.

•      Reviewing data collection and undertaking analysis as appropriate, reporting on a regular basis to the functional referent about study progress and any relevant information for the project. Writes a clear research report documenting the full methods and results and draws appropriate conclusions supported by the results.
