  • Provide quality ANC/ PNC/ FP and PLW Nut consultations and Management
  • Providing maternity care, treatment and follow-up of patients, according to doctors’ prescriptions, with Guidelines and protocols applied in service and universal hygiene standards/precautions applied, in order to ensure the quality and continuity of care for the targeted population.
  • Performing vaginal examinations, taking and recording vital signs during: early labour, active laour and postpartum period, auscultation of fetal heart during first and second stage as per MSF protocol and ensuring all information is accurately recorded. 
  • Responsible for Post Partum period monitoring and care, and management of post partum complication under supervision of the specialist doctors.
  • Responsible for routine nursing care for mothers and neonates including first treatment after birth, assistance of neonatal resuscitation and routine care in the unit.
  • Receiving baby at caesarean section in Theater, providing basic resuscitation and being familiar with aseptic technique, perform the first examination of the infant and provide the first treatment.
  • Care of patients admitted in IPD ensuring close monitoring, administration of treatment and ensuring other procedures are performed according to the Guidelines.
  • In Triage take vital signs, assess patient status/medical history and closely monitor a patients condition.
  • Educate patients and care takers about COVID and prescreen/priorize patient that needs immediate medical attention
