MSF-OCA is looking for a 6 month engagement Madical Activity Manager based in Quetta, Kuchlak (Monthly salary-237,903 PKR, leaves, medical coverage, training, and career growth) and the opportunity to work for an internationally renowned humanitarian organization.
The position will not be an Inpat and no relocation allowance will be given. The selected candidate need to relocate themselves to Quetta.
Summary of position:
Defining, coordinating and monitoring the medical activities under his/her responsibility according to MSF protocols, standards and procedures in order to ensure the delivery of quality medical care for patients and their communities as well as to improve the health condition of the target population
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinating the execution of the research with partners ensuring compliance to MSF protocols
- Provide training and supervision of the team that will participate in performing the research; coordinate collaboration with the regular CL team.
- Reviewing data collection and undertaking analysis as appropriate, reporting on a regular basis to the functional referent about clinical trial progress and any relevant information for the mission/project.
- Assisting Principal Investigator (PI) in writing clear research reports with the main methods and results, where appropriate, and contributes in writing scientific papers.
- Ensuring proper management of data systems and presence accurate, high quality databases in adherence to the data management plan (DMP) and International Council for Harmonization of Good Clinical Practice ICH-GCP
- Coordinating, assessing and supervising the proper functioning of the medical activities (HIV, TB STIs, SGBV, etc.), according to MSF protocols, standards and procedures and through the correct compilation and analysis of medical data regarding patients’ health conditions.
- Participating in the definition of annual planning and budget for the project and in the follow up of the programs / project. Supervising and ensuring that medical activities objectives under his/her responsibility are achieved, reporting to the technical referent any problem arising in the service
- Planning and supervising, in close coordination with the HR department, the associated processes (recruitment, training, performance evaluation, development and internal communication) of the staff under his/her responsibility in order to improve staff capabilities and to ensure both the sizing and the amount of knowledge required
- Participating in the monthly reports according to guidelines (i.e. SitRep, medical statistical reports, etc.).
Requirements:
Education
- Medical doctor degree.
- Desirable specialization or training in Cutaneous Leishmanisais treatment.
Experience
- Essential 2 year working experience related to the diploma/degree. Desirable experience from other NGO or MSF in the field.
- Experience as supervisor / manager is desirable.
Languages
- English fluently, local language desirable Pashto / Persian / Brahvi / Urdu
