General Objectives:
Execute, according to hygienic standards, housekeeping, cleaning and tidying up activities in order to ensure public and staff private areas are in good condition.
Key Responsibilities:
• Clean and disinfect bedrooms, bathrooms, toilets and other rooms in MSF house and Office.
• Sweep, vacuum and mop the floors.
• Check that the toilets are well stocked with paper and soap.
• Restock supplies (toilet paper, soap, etc.) as required.
• Check that the water supply (kitchen, washrooms, etc.) is sufficient during water cuts.
• Keep premises properly locked (doors, windows).
• Regular washing of fabrics (microfibers, mops, tea towels) and accessories used for cleaning.
• Wash windows regularly
• Sweeping and cleaning balconies and terraces
• Office : Empty all the baskets in the office twice a day or as per need.
• Office : Remove dust from desks and shelves and clean doors and handles
• Expat House : cleaning of all kitchens - fridge, gas cooker, sinks and microwave
Depending on expats\' needs : washing and ironing clothes, changing bedsheets every 2 weeks and towels every week
MSF Section/Context-Specific Accountabilities:
· Inform the supervisor in case of blockage of the toilets
· Clean outside washroom 2 times per day
· Empty, clean and disinfect waste buckets as needed
· Responsible to disinfect toilets, showers, washing areas, cloths room and floors with specified solution.
· Clean inside washroom 2 times per day
· Clean the drivers’ resting room in daily basis
· Inform your supervisor in case of any blockage, leakage and choking of drain.
