MSF-OCA is looking for Pharmacy Supervisor based in CHAMAN

Summary of position:
Ensuring general functioning of the pharmacy and supervising pharmacy supply chain processes in accordance with MSF standards, protocols and procedures, in order to ensure its efficiency and operating availability.
Key Responsibilities:
- Pharmacy supervisor is to coordinate with logistics on medical supplies (specifically laboratory, water, hygiene and sanitation related) and monitor the medical and lab items consumption and pharmacy stock once the stocks are out from the main medical stores (which is managed by the logs). This requires technical supervision of dispensers in the pro-ject including ones in outreach locations
- Provide safe management of central pharmacy (check temperature, management of cold chain, discard expired drugs, keep pharmacy clean and well organized etc.)
- Supervision of pharmacy team and medicine dispensers in the field (create monthly roster, approve annual leave)
- Creates and applies monthly request for medicines and medical supplies to medical warehouse
- Regularly and proactively reports to MTL/PMR on inventory of the pharmacy
- Active participation in analysis of ruptures, near expiry and overstock items
- Fills consumption tool accurately and update stock cards every week in collaboration with pharmacy storekeeper
- Active participation in Forecast of Monthly Consumption for International Medical Order
- Ensures 24 hours supply to all inpatients departments with correct calculation based on the number of patients and weekly supply of medical material and drugs to OPD and updates emergency cupboards in all inpatient departments daily
- Proactive planning for covering gaps during weekends and public holidays
Requirements for the position:
Education: Essential, degree of pharmacy management from a recognized university of Pakistan.,
Registered pharmacist with category “A” from any pharmacy council in Pakistan.
Experience: At least 1 year certified work experience as a pharmacy manager
Language: Mission language (English) and local language essential
Knowledge Competencies: Essential computer literacy (MS Word, MS Excel and Internet)
