You will oversee the daily operations of the Operating Theatre (OT), assist in surgical procedures, ensure hygiene standards, and maintain OT equipment and supply readiness.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee daily operations of the OT, ensuring 24/7 readiness for emergency surgeries.
• Contribute to maternal health procedures including c-sections and hysterectomies.
•  Assist the surgical team during operations, including instrument handling, monitoring patient vitals, administering prescribed IV fluids and painkillers, and supporting anesthetic induction.
• Ensure strict adherence to MSF hygiene and sterilization protocols, including guiding instrument decontamination, and enforcing proper sterilization techniques.
• Manage and maintain all OT equipment and supplies, ensuring availability and functionality, and coordinating repairs or replacements as needed.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Education: Diploma in OT Technology (minimum 2 years) with valid professional registration card.
•  Experience: OT experience desirable.
•  Languages: Fluency in Urdu and Pashto required. Proficiency in English an asset.
