MSF-OCA is looking for a MEDICAL ACTIVITY MANAGER)for its PROJECT in Chaman – BALOCHISTAN.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate and monitor the daily working plan of  medical doctors and other  team under his/her responsibility.
  • Participate in ward round  in collaboration with MDs, ensure patients patients management is done as per protocols and guidelines.
  • Participate in the programs / project follow-up, supervise and ensure that medical activities objectives under his/her responsibility are achieved and report to the technical referent any problem arising in the service.
  • Participates in the monthly reports according to guidelines (i.e. monthly medical reports, SitReps, medical statistical reports, etc.) and definition of annual planning, budget for the project.
  • Ensures proper implementation of the health policy for national staff, providing necessary preventive measures for MSF staff, safe structures/working environment and emergency plans.
  • Responsible for patients’ referrals, ensure patients are refrred as per referral policy.
  • Ensure the use of telemedecine  network for cases in need specilised opinion.

Requirements for the position:

  • Medical Doctor Degree (MBBS) with valid PMC registration.
  • Essential 2-year working experience in related field.
  • Minimum 1 year  experience in a management position
  • Desirable: relevant postgraduate qualification in health management, MPH, paediatrics , etc.
  • People management and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in English, Urdu and any other relevant languages.
  • Ability to work independently and to work under stress and in difficult circumstances.
  • Capacity to work in a multidisciplinary, cross-cultural and international team.
