Summary of Position: The Gender Based Violence (GBV) Program Supervisor is responsible for the comprehensive development, implementation, management, monitoring, and evaluation of GBV strategies and care for survivors of GBV in the MSF Quetta project according to MSF values, standards, and procedures, creating access to and providing care for survivors of GBV.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assess the community perception of sexual violence, the perceived needs of survivors, and reasons survivors do not seek health care.
• Develop, monitor, and evaluate strategies for MSF’s GBV approach in collaboration with international staff responsible for the GBV program.
• Identify and engage with key target groups of trusted community members and support services for outreach activities together with the outreach team.
• Gather information on available support services for survivors of GBV, establish a referral pathway, and monitor and evaluate referrals.
• Identify training needs and organize training, coaching, and supervision about GBV for MSF health care providers and staff based on findings from assessments.
• Support first line care providers to identify, receive, and assess survivors of GBV in a confidential, safe, and survivor-centered manner.
• Provide psychological first aid, supportive counseling, and emotional support to survivors.
• Ensure timely referral and access to comprehensive medical care, including emergency treatment and mental health support.
• Conduct case management following MSF protocols and international GBV guidelines.
• Develop individualized care and safety plans with survivors.
• Collaborate with other medical departments to ensure integrated care.
• Maintain accurate, confidential, and secure documentation of GBV cases.
• Monitor and follow up on cases to ensure continuity of care and protection.
• Lead in encoding GBV data on DHIS.
• Conduct data analysis and develop monthly reports to monitor and evaluate the program.
• Conduct community awareness sessions on the prevention of gender-based violence, available services, and women's rights.
• Strengthen community-based referral pathways and coordination with relevant service providers.
• Support training and capacity building of staff on survivor-centered approaches, confidentiality, and safeguarding as well as medical care provision.
• Ensure adherence to MSF principles of neutrality, impartiality, confidentiality, and respect for survivors' dignity.
• Report trends, protection concerns, and program challenges to supervisors while maintaining strict confidentiality.

Languages: English: Fluent in speaking, reading, and writing. Local languages are a must: Pashto, Urdu, and Balochi, fluent in reading, writing, and speaking.

Note: The position will not be an Inpat and no relocation allowance will be given. The selected candidate needs to relocate themselves to Quetta.
